IT ALWAYS AMAZES ME TO SEE HOW BOSTON TRANSFORMS
itself in the summer. The city seems to come alive as people dine at their
favorite outdoor cafés, outfit themselves in the hottest summer fashions, and
drag pool toys and lounge chairs out of the garage. It’s hard to believe it’s the
same place that just weeks ago was still thawing out from the grip of winter.
Speaking of hard to believe, how about our recent “Casino Grand” issuerelease
party sponsored by the brand-new MGM Grand at Foxwoods? The
chic State Room event space on State Street was transformed into a “playground”
for Boston’s best. Blackjack, roulette, poker, and craps were on offer, and all of
our guests had a great time. We want to say thank-you to Joseph Jimenez and
Gillian Murphy from the MGM Grand and offer them our heartfelt congratulations
on the opening of the new property. We’d also like to give special thanks
to our friends from Pravda vodka and to the staff at the State Room for making
it a wonderful evening.
